Deserted society
Raising homelessness awareness through photography
Deserted socieaty is a project on homelessness that arose when a first started traveling others cities, interested in other people and cultures. Working under this theme has been a major interest of mine as I am attracted to the picturesque desolations and damages of urban life, oppression and injustice on others. My interest in homelessness increased when living in North England, when I began to study and visually engage with some organization which support the homeless such as Soup Kitchen and Churches. Since there, I have been documenting homelessness in the UK and in Madrid, Spain, where I been engaged with a homeless protest camp located in the Paseo del Prado.
